Many American sites are today sharing Thanksgiving related columns. As I looked at some of them, it became way too hard for me to choose just one or two to share here. I also - fleetingly - thought about writing my own column of 'profound' thoughts.
No! I recognised that my own thoughts would really contribute nothing new to all the Americans writing about their own holiday. This is one of those times when the Brits (and Canadians) need to step aside, and let the Americans have their d/say. ;)
Instead, I am going to continue doing what I do every single day: giving thanks.
A suggestion from Bratville: Starting today, instead of waiting for one 'official' day to give thanks, how about we each find something EVERY SINGLE day to give thanks for. I promise every single reader here, that we can each find at least one thing (or person) a day to be thankful for.
I am thankful for each of you, my American (and Danish) 'family.'
HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY, America!
