Video:Op/Ed - Hillary Clinton is not MY champion
Hillary Clinton wants to be your champion. Yesterday, continuing her usual MO of avoiding having to answer questions with an uncontrolled mainstream media rabble, Hillary released a video to announce she is - again - running to be the Democratic nominee for the 2016 Presidential election.
Hillary Clinton wants to be your champion but when asked to name any achievement from her years as SecState, she (and any of her allies) struggles to present even one.
Hillary Clinton wants to be your champion but obviously fails to see the irony of using the very same tool to announce, as she blames for that 'spontaneous demonstration' in Benghazi.
But really, 'what difference, at this point, does it make?'
The list is long of events - and unanswered questions - from Mrs Clinton's life, that should disqualify her from any future public office in the US. In my opinion, the most egregious is the unnecessary murders of the four brave Americans we lost in Benghazi. On their deaths alone, never mind Clinton's default position when questioned about that, of faux indignation, should keep the Oval Office doors locked against her.
Never mind. If the litany of Hillary's qualities that should make her ineligible for POTUS is raised, your wanna-be champion Hillary - unless your name is Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty or Tyrone Woods, of course - does have one qualification that nobody can argue with.
Yes, some day I would love to see an accomplished, ethical, patriotic female President of the United States; you know, one who follows the Constitution, but Hillary Clinton ain't it, not now, not ever.
Back in 2007 when then Senator Obama began his never-ending electioneering, any of us who pointed out his lack of qualifications for the highest political office in the US were labelled racist. On this very site, I had a wonderful collection of unpublished comments wrapped in one word: RACIST!
I can absolutely guarantee that now Mrs Clinton has finally made her POTUS aspirations official, the Hilbots will be lurking in every corner ready to scream shrilly "SEXIST" if anybody dares to question why Mrs Clinton is entitled/fit to be elected.
In another of life's little ironies, despite all her proclaimed education and connections, if all else fails Hillary cynically falls back on the old 'I have a vagina, so vote for me.' Feminists everywhere should be proud..
Dear old Hillary may be channeling Helen Reddy, but it is this female writer's fervent hope that all voters reject Hillary Clinton's blatantly cynical grab for power, and deny her their votes.
Call me sexist if you think that would achieve anything, but really, that absurdity will only make me laugh.
There ARE amazing American women who have proved their patriotism, their ethics, their qualifications to Serve as POTUS. Any one of them would be 'champion.'
Hillary Clinton? She's no champion. Just ask Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty or Tyrone Woods.
Those Heroes, and ALL Americans, deserve far better.

Hillary Clinton and Benghazi Testimony
Even as I am on an unplanned sabbatical from my writing (but still paying attention!) others are continuing to write, and provide insightful commentary of current events. Last week the horrific murders of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods in Benghazi were in the political spotlight - albeit temporarily - as Hillary Clinton, the MIC's SoS finally appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Clinton testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
00:38: SEN Menendez (D-NJ) welcoming Hillary Clinton and heaping praise on her.
[WOTN note: Some of the following is paraphrased and some is quotes. Some of the quotes are not in quotation marks. Effort was made to capture the essence of the words, in order to allow readers to find the specific portions of most signifcant interest to them. Some key phrases are emphasized, as Hillary acknowledges that Al-Qaeda is still and will be a threat for a long time.
In this testimony, Hillary avoids stating why no action was taken in the 7 hour attack and at times refuses responsibility for inaction, while at other times proclaiming that she takes full responsibility. She does indicate that Rice was using Admin approved talking points, but feebly attempts to defend it.]
10:46: SEN Corker (R-TN) welcoming Hillary, the "aftermath" of "Benghazi represents the worst of Washington," "there was spin from the White House," "it represented of the denial of the world as it really is," "it also represents an awakening," "the spiking of the ball" and the thinking that al-Qaeda was defeated when we killed bin Laden, that the world is a much more dangerous place today.
16:46: SecState Clinton (D) pointing out past attacks, that she immediately began talking to people about talking, began investigation the next day. The attack "was a part of broader strategic challenge" to the United States. "I was there on the night of 9/11/2012." I was talking to everyone, and the military did not deny support. I was already there dealing with the attack on the US Embassy in Cairo. Everyone has been talking about things ever since, and when people stopped talking and finished writing about the talking, I told people to start writing some more about making changes. "The Arab revolutions have shattered" the stability of the Middle East. We're working with the Algerians to prevent this from happening again. I talked to a bunch of Arab leaders after the 9/11/2012 attacks. Then I talked to them some more. "We cannot afford to retreat now."
"It is our responsibility to make sure they have the resources they need." The State Department has 70,000 people working in 275 locations around the world....
There is more, much more, (including the video) of this damning indictment over at WOTN. GO READ.
This administration may be hoping that the deaths of these fine Americans - and the totally inappropriate response to it - will be soon forgotten. It won't. Now more than ever it is crucial that we ALL continue to pay attention.
