Danged shame that those hundreds of flooded school buses could not have been loaded up by order of the mayor or governor and taken thousands to safety. The folks there had 5 days notice to leave. Cities and communities all along the Texas and Louisiana coast were wiped out, but New Orleans had more resources at its disposal to evacuate safely. Horrible tragedy all the way around.
Wow! First time listening to MDT. Most definitely won't be my last.
btw, tend to agree with Anon. There was plenty of forewarning. Yet, mandatory evac delayed too late. Sad, isn't it?
