Douglas Murray on 'Religion of Peace'

I only recently discovered Douglas Murray, a young Brit who has been sounding the alarm over the muslim invasion of Britain. Take a look:

"Britain has already gone too far in accomodating Islam...in the final analysis that is suicidal..."

And then there is this:

"It is not Europe that has failed muslims. It is muslims that have failed Europe."

There is more from Douglas Murray here.

Back In February, British Prime Minister David Cameron made a much publicised speech on the state of 'multi-culturalism' on Britain:

Muslims must embrace our British values, David Cameron says

British Muslims must subscribe to mainstream values of freedom and equality, David Cameron declared that the doctrine of multiculturalism has “failed” and will be abandoned.

05 Feb 2011

Entering the debate on national identity and religious tolerance, the Prime Minister declared an end to “passive tolerance” of divided communities, and say that members of all faiths must integrate into wider society and accept core values.

To be British is to believe in freedom of speech and religion, democracy and equal rights regardless of race, sex or sexuality, he will say. Proclaiming a doctrine of “muscular liberalism”, he said that everyone, from ministers to ordinary voters, should actively confront those who hold extremist views.

He warned that groups that fail to promote British values will no longer receive public money or be able to engage with the state.

His speech, to an international security conference in Munich, comes after The Daily Telegraph disclosed the extent to which the British intelligence community fears the “unique threat” of terrorist attacks by radicalised British Muslims.

Mr Cameron promised a new willingness to argue against and “defeat” extremist ideologies that lead some to engage in terrorism....

Much more - plus a video clip - here.

Many of us stood up and cheered Mr Cameron's words, and so did the Council of Ex-Muslims in Britain who issued this press release in response:

We the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain strongly support the speech given by David Cameron (PM), on the grounds that for a long time we have felt that Extremist groups have been given protection from the State and even have been supported by the state through funding of institutions and the like. We feel like this has aided segregation in British societies with Communities living parallel lives from each other. We hope therefore to see in the future a review of the Arbitration laws along with the above actions proposed to prevent Sharia law from operating in this country. This on the grounds that it leaves those who cannot speak good English and are not informed of British law, vulnerable to coercion from their communities into using such services which we feel may harm the rights of women to freedom.

All well and good, but talk is cheap. NONE of us can afford to merely talk the talk. It is long overdue for all western governments (and yes, I do mean ALL) to act on these words and say: 'NO MORE' to the murderous muslim terrorists who are determined to stomp on our long held and honed beliefs and values.

Pay attention.
