Anderson, Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment hooked this fish at Camp Slayer, Iraq, June 1. He tried luring the fish with turkey sausage, but the line kept snapping. Finally after six lines broke, he used a 30-pound trilene with half of a bagel for bait and reeled the behemoth into shore. The fish was 5 feet, 10 inches long and weighed 105 pounds. [source] |
