"We come in peace"!

Yesterday (Nov. 20, 2008), a very large meteor burned up over Edmonton, Alberta. The fireball was seen from northern Saskatchewan to southern Alberta. The streaking meteor was reported to shake the ground in some locations, and is suspected to have made an impact 200 kilometers South of Calgary. So far, no injuries or loss of property has been reported.

The following two videos show the meteor as it burned up in the atmosphere:
(go to Visual Astronomy here for those)

How awesome is that? And yes, I'm loving it!
