Where's the even handed President now?

Remember how the world blamed Israel for FINALLY defending themselves against continuous rocket attacks from Hamas? Remember the deafening silence when it was proved that Hamas was using the school as a base from which to fire the rockets? You know, the same incident that the world headlines screamed that Israel was deliberating targeting, killing children and innocent civilians? No? Guess we forget already about Hamas stealing ambulances which Israel was sending into Gaza. Oh, and the outrage has been deafening about Hamas' interpretation of "ceasefire", as they continue to rocket Israel. Never mind.

Today, comes this:
Hamas Police Steal Humanitarian Aid from UNRWA Warehouse

by Hana Levi Julian

(IsraelNN.com) Hamas police raided an UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) warehouse in Gaza Tuesday evening, stealing thousands of blankets and hundreds of food parcels from local staff at gunpoint.

"It's a very serious incident," Jerusalem-based UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness told Israel National News. "We condemn it in the strongest terms and we demand that the items be returned immediately."

Hamas police grabbed 3,500 blankets and 407 food parcels, according to Gunness, who said his staff was present at the time of the heist. "We were there, and we tried to stop them, but they were armed and we were not," he said.

This is not the first time that Hamas terrorists have stolen humanitarian aid supplies, according to the IDF. Gunness maintained they had never before looted from UNRWA, however. ...

The rest of this story is here. Don't expect to see this in the western msm. It really wouldn't fit their agenda of Israel as war criminals, killers of children blah blah blah.. AND don't wait for President Obama to practice any even-handed condemnation, and demand Hamas stop the bs.

[Addendum: It DID make it to the BBC and these lines jumped out at me:

The UN said it was the first time its aid had been confiscated by Hamas.

It condemned the action and demanded the goods be immediately returned. There has been no comment by Hamas.

Yea, yea. Read the rest of the Beeb here. ]

Oh, and of COURSE, for the real goods, go to Israel, right? Luckily for all of us, we have Israeli Soldier's Mother to tell us what is really going on. All her columns are enlightening, but I found another that just about ripped my gut out. Go here to read what SHE has to say. It really IS a must-read. I promise...and, if you are like me, prepare to start your day supremely pissed off that the children of Israel are STILL denied peace - peace enough to write a school test uninterrupted. "Cease-fire"?????????? Riiiiiiiight. I guess Hamas didn't get the memo.
