Nigerian School girls: Obama's hashtag diplomacy doesn't work *gasp*

Remember this pathetic excuse for foreign policy?

Or this?

(source)

Despite the flurry a couple of weeks ago, suggesting that the kidnapped school girls were about to be 'released' - and who the hell believed THAT? -  despite Mrs Obama's sulky face and MIC's usual faux 'outrage, '  now the kidnappers Boko Haram have told the world of the actual fate for these victims of the 'religion of peace'.

From Washington Times:

Boko Haram leader: Kidnapped girls married, converted to Islam Islamic leader taunts world: ‘We only obey Allah’
Associated Press - Saturday, November 1, 2014

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria — With a malevolent laugh, the leader of Nigeria’s Islamic extremists tells the world that more than 200 kidnapped schoolgirls have all been converted to Islam and married off, dashing hopes for their freedom.

“If you knew the state your daughters are in today, it might lead some of you … to die from grief,” Abubakar Shekau sneers, addressing the parents of the girls and young women kidnapped from a remote boarding school more than six months ago.

In a new video released late Friday night, the Boko Haram leader also denies there is a cease-fire with the Nigerian government and threatens to kill an unidentified German hostage. ...

The reality that hashtag foreign policy is meaningless is also noted in Nigeria's media. From The News (Nigeria) via JihadWatch, comes this:

Abducted schoolgirls married off after conversion to Islam, says Shekau in new video
Oct 31 2014 Shekau and gang in latest video : says the Chibok girls married off

It is now certain that President Goodluck Jonathan will never be able to #bringbackourgirls.

What a pity! The whole campaign, with international flavour, has been a waste of time as Abubakar Shekau, the Boko Haram leader said in a new video today that the 219 girls captured in April have been married after their conversion to Islam.

The schoolgirls were captured on 14 April in Chibok, Borno state. They have not been seen since then.

Shekau also denied what observers have long suspected: his group has never agreed to a ceasefire with the Nigerian government. In the new video obtained on Friday by AFP,

Shekau described the Nigerian government claims as a lie. He also ruled out future talks.....

So, not only are the Nigerian msm acknowledging the reality for these girls, ISIS is also posting mocking tweets about Mrs Obama's useless hashtag diplomacy

For those who may still believe the current US administrations' foreign policy idiocy has brought "hope and change" and a more peaceful world, go over to The Time of India's file on the murderous ways of Boko Haram terrorists.

Obama et al may want us all to forget about these events, or believe that they are fuelling that faux outrage into positive results, but it seems the rest of the world is not buying it. I guess facts really ARE pesky little things...

Meanwhile, these kidnapped girls, their families, and many other innocents around the world, wait for the rest of the world to give a damn....

The Obama administration inaction .- apart from that hashtag stuff, of course  -  guarantee a long wait for freedom.
