The End is Nigh?

From Pam at Iraq War Today. (And yes, I DO know Pam...lol)

My Two Cents: The End is Nigh?

So here we are, less than a week from an election that could quite literally mean the end of the United States of America as we know her. Paranoia? Perhaps. I never would have believed that my nation could truly be on the verge of voting itself out of existence. But here we are.

The golden child of this presidential election has deep, obvious cracks in his hallowed facade. There are signs that few could miss if they actually look - signs that indicate severe issues. Besides his associations with radicals and terrorists, there are scores of trouble markers.

He appears not to care who supports him. His website does not utilize credit card matching for donations; a test using the names Osama bin Laden, John Galt, and Saddam Hussein to make donations with the same credit card revealed that all the donations went through. In fact, a lot of interesting people have been donating to Obama; and foreign credit are also being accepted. Donations have come from Palestine. Good Will, Loving, and Dela Ware have also made donations. Obama also accepts donations from largely untraceable pre-paid credit cards. His campaign’s response to questions was that “no campaign can fully insulate itself” from these types of issues. John McCain and Hillary Clinton used computer matching (ABS) and citizenship checks for their donations. Obama checks neither....

And you know there is more - much more. Go read this well-articulated piece NOW here!

Obama won't "spread the wealth" to the poor.

The earth is flat and Democrats are for poor people.

I am a PTA mom and Republican volunteer in Maryland and I've seen what a one party state does for poor people. They spend millions, billions of dollars on their supporters. Its as if they need to keep the poor people poor, in order to justify spending those same millions and billions on their supporters next year.

The "affordable" housing that Democrats pushed onto poor people included interest only and variable rate loans that are easier to default on and wreck your credit; when conventional wisdom for the middle class, even those with college degrees, is "never take out an interest only or variable rate mortgage".

The schools that Democrats push onto poor people graduate only half of the kids in Chicago and in Baltimore only 33% of the kids who want to graduate can pass 9th grade level tests. I've heard that 75% of African American males drop out of school in Baltimore City. They compete with illegal immigrants for jobs in 1 of the 4 states that allow illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses.

No, Democrats don't like poor people. They use poor people like a commodity to enrich their unions, enrich their buddies who bring "development" to the city, enrich their organizations who provide "services" to the poor, and enrich the businesses that save money and get around the Democrat's excessive regulation of the work place by hiring illegal immigrants.

In Chicago, the first Walmart opens in 2006 after intense union opposition, and 15,850 people apply for the 450 jobs.

Unions are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on Democratic candidates in this 2008 election cycle. (see National Right to Work)

If poor people had any idea how much money is supposedly spent on their behalf and NEVER reaches them, I believe they wouldn't vote for Democrats for a generation.

1. unions -- Maryland Spring 2006 - teachers unions get increase in pensions from 30% of pay to 50% of pay (average of pay the last 3 years before retirement) -- $100 million a year extra spending just sails through the legislature.

2. Development -- who knew you could become a multi millionaire developing distressed inner city properties. Tony Resko knew the secret.

3. ACORN collects $750 million of a total of $2 billion? that was paid by the federal government to "community organizations" to go out and recruit/find more low income home buyers to "bless" with the outragious interest only and variable rate loans.
