Judge Dismisses Legal Case Over 'Ground Zero' Mosque

A New York City State Supreme Court justice has dismissed a lawsuit brought by a former firefighter against the developers of an Islamic community center near the site of the 9/11 World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan.

Justice Paul G. Feinman in his decision Friday wrote that Timothy Brown lacked any legal standing over the project site, located on Park Place.

Brown had sought to have the site, a former Burlington Coat Factory store, declared a New York City landmark. If Justice Feinman had ruled in Brown's favor, he would have overturned the local landmark commission's refusal to have the site declared a landmark.

Brown argued that the site is worthy of landmark status because so many firefighters and police officers died during the attacks in an effort to rescue people.

The Burlington Coat Factory, located just two blocks from the World Trade Center, was also damaged during the September 11, 2001 attacks...

The lawyer for the Ground Zero mosque group had this to say after this latest verdict was given:

Adam Leitman Bailey, a lawyer for the center's developer, told the Times the judge's decision was "a victory for America."

"Despite the tempest of religious hatred, the judge flexed our Constitution's muscles enforcing the very bedrock of our democracy," Bailey told the Times....

I have written many times on the placement of the Ground Zero mosque and my opinion on the encroachment of Islam right there on such sacred ground is well known. Being called rude names such as the tired old label of 'raaaacist' is nothing new, and I am in great company with others who know that this mosque has no business being anywhere near Ground Zero. It has nothing to do with a 'healing center,' a 'leisure center,' or even the 'rights and freedoms of all Americans to worship...' etc etc blah blah blah. It does have everything to do with a calculated adding of insult to terrible injury, and I don't care how you wrap it all up, the Islamist group behind this monstrosity are well aware of this.

If you believe the msm, things have been very quiet on the Ground Zero mosque front. However, some of us continue to pay close attention, and are very well aware of the creeping progress of this permanent structure of Islam on the grounds of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil - by Islamists.
