Keep America Safe co-founder Liz Cheney released the following statement:
"President Obama's decision to precipitously withdraw American troops from Afghanistan is dangerous and reckless. He ignored his top military advisers and adopted a plan that is more aggressive, carries more risk, and could lead to more casualties. In setting a September 2012 deadline for troop withdrawal, President Obama has shown he cares more about leaving than about prevailing in Afghanistan. He has put politics before our troops, and he has once again put American security at risk."
