The U.S. Postal Inspection Service will begin accepting postal inspector applications during the period December 13 - 17, 2010. If you are interested in applying for the position of Postal Inspector go to the Inspection Service webpage http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov, where you will have access to complete the online application. The online application can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection. An electronic notification will be sent immediately to the applicant, acknowledging receipt of their application. Within 48 hours, the successful applicant will receive a subsequent electronic notification regarding access to the initial portion of the two-part, on-line entrance examination. Once completed, applicants then receive an electronic notification of whether or not they passed this portion of the exam. Successful applicants will move to the next phase of the process and receive information concerning part two of the entrance examination.
