A CALL FOR ACTION:
Last Friday, Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office (Washington) DEPUTY BRENT HARRIS and his family lost their home and everything in it to a devastating fire. The home was completely destroyed.
At the time of the fire, Brent and his son were out building a ramp with fellow Deputies for another county employee who is confined to a wheelchair. It is time to PAY IT FORWARD.
Deputy Harris's wife Julie, who works in the records department, and their two daughters were home at the time but were able to get out before the home was completely gutted.
This family also includes Police K9 DEPUTY FRITZ. The girls were able to save our 4-legged Brother along with a household dog. The only personal item grabbed was a prom dress for one of the girls. They need everything and we all need to step up for our Brother of BLUE.
This family has been through a lot lately, including losing another K9 Deputy just a few weeks ago when K9 NITRO had to be put down due to health. Deputy Harris has been saving, serving, protecting and sacrificing for nearly 20 years. Sheriff Mark Nelson asks that we all show this family what we are all made of and to keep the Harris family in your thoughts and prayers by encouraging words.
