From a Military Chaplain: Thoughts for the Day

I desire that time when extremism does not drive people to kill themselves, or others, in the name of religious beliefs. That day is not here, and because of it, American soldiers are, since that is our mission and calling. So we fight on, sometimes dying, but always living, to keep freedom alive, and protect those who can't protect themselves. ~ CH Kenneth Afghanistan 1-03-11

"So, if you want to thank a Soldier this week - live your life. Live it abundantly, live it energetically, suck every bit of flavor our of your day. That's why we are here in Afghanistan, that's why we do what we do, that's why we put our lives on the line - so you can live yours." ~ Chaplain Doug, Afghanistan ~ 9.11.09
