POW/MIA : The search continues in Vietnam

05/20/2011 - A team with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) empties sediment from a suction hose into a screen May 20, 2011, during an underwater recovery mission in Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam. U.S. Sailors with Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 and JPAC members deployed to the north-central coast of Vietnam to look for evidence of Americans who remain unaccounted-for from the Vietnam War. JPAC’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans who are missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts.
