USS New York at Fleet Week
NEW YORK (May 25, 2011) Logistics Specialist 1st Class Joquel Chappel watches from the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) as it passes the Statue of Liberty. New York has 7.5 tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center towers forged into her bow and is participating in the 24th annual Fleet Week New York.
