Muslims in the holy city have been rioting for more than two weeks now, clashing with police and attacking Jewish residents. Several people have been injured and one man - 64-year-old grandfather Alexander Levlovich - was murdered by Muslim terrorists who hurled rocks at his car, causing a fatal crash....


 The above video was taken Monday morning, on the first day of the Jewish festival Sukkot, and shows mobs of Muslims harassing Jews on their way to pray at the Kotel (Western Wall)....

I do not like bigotry and am no admirer of bone idleness.

You have to be seriously lazy not to do a bit of research before striking a silly pose – even if you are a well subsidised student.

How many of the banner wavers know that there are one and a half million Palestinian Arabs who are citizens of Israel?

If their plight is so appalling, why don’t they leave?

They could jump in the car and in an hour be over the border into Gaza to live under Hamas.

But they don’t. In the same time they could be in the West Bank, living under the PLO government.

But they stay put. Why?

Well, it seems they have a better life and are well aware of it. They have better homes and jobs, better hospitals for their aged and better schools for their kids.

They have better social security.

They are exempt from military service unless they volunteer, which many do.

If they get into trouble with the law on a civil matter they have a better chance of a fair trial and an unpurchased judge rather than a kangaroo court and a mediaeval punishment.

Also unsaid on campus is that the Palestinians under Yasser Arafat had many chances to improve their lot and prosper but always chose the path of armed pursuit of the pipe dream of the eradication of Israel.

Islamist Terrorism spreads: Have we learned nothing?

News last night of Islamist terrorists boldly slaughtering Egyptian Christians is but the latest of murders sweeping the globe - supposedly in the name of that religion of peace.

Christians, Jews, anybody not Islam, are all fair game for these terrorists, and the politicians in the west continue to hide their heads in the sand, and label these incidents as 'lone wolf' committed by 'isolated confused young men.'

All across the Middle East and Europe, those murdering scum continue to target innocents in what President Obama refuses to name.

North America is not immune.  Over the years, politicians and mainstream media have continued to skirt coyly around the many attacks by Islamist terrorists, refusing to call them what they are.  The Ft Hood attack by a terrorist yelling "Allah akbar"  was consistently called 'workplace violence' by the US Commander In Chief.

I have long documented the threat of insidious creep of Islamist terrorism within our borders.  Back in October 2010 I wrote this as Dutch anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders was on trial defending his right to clearly identify the threat posed by Islamist terrorists:

North Americans have long thought that what happens outside their shores - over there - has nothing to do with them. This 'trial' today in a small European country has EVERYTHING to do with us all. Mr Wilders may be defending his right to speak truth to the Danish people, in his own country, but anybody who believes that they can ignore the worldwide ramifications of this 'trial' is delusional...

Anybody who has not been living under a rock these past few years has seen what this 'religion of peace' looks like in all its ugliness, as Islam has marauded across many of Europe's streets. Those incidents do not need rehashing here.

Islamic Terror Attacks on American Soil...

These murders are not merely random acts, as anybody who pays even a smidgen of attention knows all too well....  Today in Canada, the trial continues of a Jihad recruiter.   To read these accounts is to see clear irrefutable evidence of the global threat to us infidels in our own countries, unless you choose to keep your heads buried in the sand.

As we watch the creep of Islam towards Italy, and yes, watch the Islamists in England continue to demand their 'special status ' rights there, at deadly cost to the Christians - or anybody NOT muslim - I find it astonishing that people like Obama continue to make speeches where he  'strongly condemns [s] such barbarous acts,' all the while avoiding calling these acts what they are: TERRORISM.  Period.

Apparently we seem to have forgotten how Nazism stomped unhindered across Europe slaughtering millions.   We turned our backs, and closed our ears and eyes, refusing to believe - or name - what was plain: Evil does walk among us.

One country that has clear vision when seeing what is happening every single day is Israel.


Yesterday PM Netanyahu (you know, that continual thorn in Obama's side) said:

Jerusalem (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday urged European Jews to move to Israel after a Jewish man was killed in an attack outside Copenhagen's main synagogue.

"Israel is your home. We are preparing and calling for the absorption of mass immigration from Europe," Netanyahu said in a statement, repeating a similar call after attacks by jihadists in Paris last month when four Jews were among the dead.

As history repeats itself, Israeli Soldier's Mother echoes her Prime Minister's invitation:

There are lines you draw and lines you don't. If the human body cannot live on Mars, you don't go there - at least not to live. We all need home and so we defend it but if someone offers you something beyond home for which the price is too high, you don't buy it, you don't go there.


 What is in Copenhagen? Paris? London? Madison, Wisconsin?


 If they are desecrating graves with swastikas, beating Jews, taking hostages and murdering people...in places that are not our own and cannot be defended...it is time to leave. I know it sounds so simple...but...did you ever consider the fact that it really might be?


 You can complicate it by speaking of generations who have lived in these lands, of economic considerations. Of degrees earned that may not be worth much in Israel, of driving licenses that would need to be replaced. What happened today in Copenhagen could have been done in Poland and Germany, the Ukraine and elsewhere.


What they didn't learn then, was when it is time to leave, you pack what you can (sometimes what they let you, sometimes not even that)...and you leave because, as happened this morning - if you don't, it could have been the children. The Jews of Yemen are here and settled; the Jews of Ethiopia. The Jews of Russia finally got out; the Jews of Lebanon, Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and most of Iran. Most left with nothing and yet with everything because unlike four Jews in France last month and one Jew in Copenhagen today, they came with their lives....

For those of us with  no claim to residence in Israel, I strongly suggest that time is long past when we need to remember the lessons we should have learned in the 20th century.  Islamist terrorists have arrogantly bragged that they will hoist their ISIS flag over the White House, the Vatican, and Downing Street. 

The wolf is not at the door: the wolf is already in the compound.

What will you do when there is nowhere to run?   Willful ignorance nor appeasement are tools for foreign policy.

Israel: PM Netanyahu's statement

Israel's Prime Minister is due to arrive in the US to give a speech to the Congress.  He was invited to do so by Republican John Boehner.  Since that announcement was made, Pelosi and other Democrats have gone into political BS high gear, and have made clear that they will be 'too busy' to accord the leader of one of the US's strongest allies the respect he has earned.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued the following statement this evening:


"First, on behalf of the people of Israel, I wish to send condolences to President Obama, the American people and the family of Kayla Mueller. We stand with you.


Israel’s survival is not a partisan issue, not in Israel nor in the United States.


This doesn’t mean that from time to time Israeli governments have not had serious disagreements with American administrations over the best way to achieve the security of Israel.


Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, declared Israel’s independence in the face of strong opposition from US Secretary of State George Marshall. Likewise, Prime Minister Eshkol’s decisions at the start of the Six Day War, Prime Minister Begin’s decision regarding the nuclear reactor in Iraq, and Prime Minister Sharon’s decisions to press ahead with Operation Defensive Shield; these were all strongly opposed at the time by American administrations.


Disagreements over Israel’s security have occurred between prime ministers in Israel from the left and from the right and American presidents from both parties.


None of these disagreements led to a rupture in the relationship between Israel and the United States.


In fact, over time, our relationship grew stronger.


But we do have today a profound disagreement with the United States administration and the rest of the P5+1 over the offer that has been made to Iran.


This offer would enable Iran to threaten Israel's survival.

This is a regime, Iran, that is openly committed to Israel’s destruction. It would be able, under this deal, to break out to a nuclear weapon in a short time, and within a few years, to have the industrial capability to produce many nuclear bombs for the goal of our destruction.

This is not a personal disagreement between President Obama and me. I deeply appreciate all that he has done for Israel in many fields. Equally, I know that the President appreciates my responsibility, my foremost responsibility, to protect and defend the security of Israel.


I am going to the United States not because I seek a confrontation with the President, but because I must fulfil my obligation to speak up on a matter that affects the very survival of my country.

I intend to speak about this issue before the March 24th deadline and I intend to speak in the US Congress because Congress might have an important role on a nuclear deal with Iran.

Kevin Vickers went to Israel’s Parliament on Wednesday, where he was honoured for his heroics in the Canadian Parliament. The Sergeant-at-Arms conducted himself much as he had since he ended the attack on Ottawa exactly three weeks earlier.

There was a statement to the press, his first yet, but only a brief one. And it offered all accolades to his staff, deflecting all unseemly glory.

“Though I’m honoured to think [you’re] excited about me, I wish and hope you realize it’s about the entire team that performed very well on that day,” he said in a video that was subsequently circulated by Israeli officials.

‘‘This is not about me. This is about the team of Commons security services,’’ he added later....

Israel kills Hamas top military leader, destroys Hamas Fajar missiles

In a precise targeted attack early Wednesday, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) killed Ahmad Jabari, the top military leader of Hamas; Jabari ran the organization’s armed wing, called the Izz el-Deen Al-Qassam; in a separate attack, Jabari’s deputy, Raed al-Atar, was also killed; the Israeli early morning strikes also included attacks on about twenty or so targets across the Gaza Strip. these attacks inflicted a heavy blow on Hamas’s military capabilities by destroying most of Hamas’s most threatening weapons – the mid-range Fajar missiles Hamas received from Iran and with which the organization could attack Tel Aviv and other cities in central Israel.

Half a dozen other top military leaders of Hamas were attacked, but there is no news about their fate.
Jabari was considered the most important strategist of Hamas, and he is credited with innovating the organization’s approach to its war with Israel.


Among other things, Jabari was behind the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was held prisoner for five years before being exchanged earlier this year for  a few hundreds Palestinian terrorists in Israeli jails....

Egyptian party's deputy leader tells 'al-Hayat' that they won't negotiate with Israel, will seek to cancel peace treaty.

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood will not recognize Israel “under any circumstance,” the party’s deputy leader Dr. Rashad Bayoumi told Arabic daily al-Hayat in an interview published on Sunday.

In recent Egyptian elections the Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) won 36.3 percent of the list vote, while the ultra-conservative Salafi al-Nour Party took 28.8%.

When asked whether it is a requirement for the government in Egypt to recognize Israel, Bayoumi responded by saying: “This is not an option, whatever the circumstances, we do not recognize Israel at all. It’s an occupying criminal enemy.”

The deputy leader stressed during the interview that no Muslim Brotherhood members would ever meet with Israelis for negotiations.“I will not allow myself to sit down with criminals.”...

Goldstone: "If I had known then what I know now..."

In 2009, Richard Goldstone led a fact-finding mission created by the UN Human Rights Council to investigate international human rights and humanitarian law violations related to the Gaza War. The mission's findings that Israel and Hamas had both committed serious violations of the laws of war led to a major controversy. You can find the whole report here on the UN site.

Today, it appears that Mr Goldstone is tempering that initial report. Last Friday, April 1, the Washington Post published an op/ed with Mr Goldstone's byline:

Reconsidering the Goldstone Report on Israel and war crimes

We know a lot more today about what happened in the Gaza war of 2008-09 than we did when I chaired the fact-finding mission appointed by the U.N. Human Rights Council that produced what has come to be known as the Goldstone Report. If I had known then what I know now, the Goldstone Report would have been a different document.

The final report by the U.N. committee of independent experts — chaired by former New York judge Mary McGowan Davis — that followed up on the recommendations of the Goldstone Report has found that “Israel has dedicated significant resources to investigate over 400 allegations of operational misconduct in Gaza” while “the de facto authorities (i.e., Hamas) have not conducted any investigations into the launching of rocket and mortar attacks against Israel.”

Our report found evidence of potential war crimes and “possibly crimes against humanity” by both Israel and Hamas. That the crimes allegedly committed by Hamas were intentional goes without saying — its rockets were purposefully and indiscriminately aimed at civilian targets.

The allegations of intentionality by Israel were based on the deaths of and injuries to civilians in situations where our fact-finding mission had no evidence on which to draw any other reasonable conclusion. While the investigations published by the Israeli military and recognized in the U.N. committee’s report have established the validity of some incidents that we investigated in cases involving individual soldiers, they also indicate that civilians were not intentionally targeted as a matter of policy.

The purpose of the Goldstone Report was never to prove a foregone conclusion against Israel. I insisted on changing the original mandate adopted by the Human Rights Council, which was skewed against Israel. I have always been clear that Israel, like any other sovereign nation, has the right and obligation to defend itself and its citizens against attacks from abroad and within. Something that has not been recognized often enough is the fact that our report marked the first time illegal acts of terrorism from Hamas were being investigated and condemned by the United Nations. I had hoped that our inquiry into all aspects of the Gaza conflict would begin a new era of evenhandedness at the U.N. Human Rights Council, whose history of bias against Israel cannot be doubted....

The comment marks the recanting by Goldstone, who chaired the United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict, of charges that Israel deliberately targeted civilians during Operation Cast Lead. The operation, which commenced on 27 December 2008 and concluded on 18 January 2009, was aimed at stopping terrorist rocket and mortar attacks on Israeli civilians in southern Israel. Most military observers regard the operation as having had only limited, short-term success.

...our main recommendation was for each party to investigate, transparently and in good faith, the incidents referred to in our report. McGowan Davis has found that Israel has done this to a significant degree; Hamas has done nothing."...

Netanyahu Responds

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has called on the United Nations to cancel the Goldstone Report on Operation Cast Lead following an op-ed piece written by the author of the report, retired South African Judge Richard Goldstone.

“Everything we said was proven to be true,” said Netanyahu. “Israel did not willfully harm civilians. Israel's investigating institutions are trustworthy, while Hamas investigated nothing.

“The fact that Goldstone withdrew his conclusions must lead to the cancellation of the report once and for all. We expect this farce to be rectified immediately."

Defense Minister Ehud Barak added that in order to repair the damage done by the report, the judge should present his current conclusions to all the international bodies to whom he presented the original report – and not merely give his opinion in an op-ed piece.

The IDF is “a moral army that operated according to international law,” Barak said.

As noted above by Barak, enormous damage was inflicted on Israel because of this report, and it is NOW (long overdue) for the UN to reverse their rubber stamping of the ongoing antisemitism that is rampant - on a daily basis - not only in Gaza, but around the world. Of course, would be only fitting for the msm to also admit what lemmings they were, and ARE, in their rush to condemn Israel at every turn. Front page story, anyone?

StandWithUs is horrified and grief-stricken by the savage murder of five members of the Fogel family. Palestinian terrorists slipped into the house while the family slept, stabbed the parents, slashed the throat of 11-year-old Yoav, knifed 3-year-old Elad in the heart, and slit the throat of their three-month-old baby, Hadas. The mother tried to fight back but was murdered. We are heart-broken and mourn with the Fogel family members and the nation of Israel who had to bury an innocent young family because of a vicious and senseless attack.

We are outraged but not surprised by the Palestinians` reaction. Early reports indicate that Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the military wing of Fatah, the governing party in the West Bank, took credit for the rampage. In Gaza, residents passed out candy and celebrated the massacre of sleeping children and their parents, just as many Palestinians celebrated after the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, and after civilians were murdered by suicide bombers during the second Intifada.

Hamas claims these murders were justifiable because Israelis live in the West Bank, even though there can be no justification for such a heinous crime. If Palestinian terrorists or the Palestinian governments Hamas and the Palestinian Authority don`t like where Israelis live, they should go back to the negotiating table and make joint decisions with Israel about future borders. Their anger about Israeli settlements does not give them a license to condone baby-killing.

Above all, we are horrified by the complicity of the international community and especially of the U.S. and U.S. taxpayers in this murder. Such inhuman Palestinian crimes occur because Palestinian society is not held accountable for systematically inciting hatred of Jews and Israelis, glorifying terrorist murderers as martyrs and heroes, and rampantly spreading anti-Israel and anti-Semitic lies in Palestinian schools, media, mosques, official statements, and public squares. It should be crystal clear that indoctrination and incitement to hate and murder, will only lead to hate and murder....

The White House put out the following statement:

WASHINGTON - The United States on Saturday called the stabbing deaths of five Israelis in the West Bank settlement of Itamar a terrorist attack and urged the Palestinian Authority to "unequivocally" condemn the killings.

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms the murder of five Israelis in a terrorist attack in the northern West Bank, and we offer our condolences to their loved ones and to the Israeli people," the White House said in a statement.

I have seen minimal reporting in the msm, who mostly neglected to give the ages of these latest victims of terrorism within Israel's borders. Sadly, we have all come to expect this selective 'reporting' from the msm, especially in all matters relating to Israel.

During his time at 1600, BHO has proved to have very little grip on the reality of leadership that should come with the title "President." The people of Iran held up placards pleading to the western world to "Help us," and the Libyans fight their own homegrown tyrant and plead for at the least a 'no fly zone' so Ghaddafi cannot rain bombs down on the innocents.

Terrorism is running amok across the world, and often it is hard to find BHO even 'present.' Apparently in the aftermath of these horrific murders, Obama does 'condemn...this terrorist attack.' He actually used the word 'terrorism,' it is being reported, and this is a good first step.

Talk is cheap.

Am I suggesting that BHO offer the US military might to intervene in countries where despots are killing their own innocent victims? No, of course not, but at the very least I would like to see some concrete action, from the supposed leader of the free world. Instead, he appears to be very busy doing....what?

Since he took power, BHO and his Secretary of State have continued to utter stern words towards Israel, to the point that Israel surely knows they needn't look to a historical ally for support. But this latest from the BHO administration as terrorists murder more Israelis, should leave no doubt about the US 'commitment' to Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Haim Fogel on the phone Saturday evening to offer condolences and support.

"It's a cold-blooded massacre of innocent children and parents," the prime minister said. "I, and the entire nation of Israel, embrace you and the three grandchildren who survived the horror. I promise to do everything we can in order to assist you at these terrible times."

Do I expect BHO to call the surviving members of the Fogel family directly? No, but I would expect that the President of the USA would - at the very least - go on the public record not only denouncing the massacre of Hadas, Elad, Yoav, Ruth and Udi, but also publicly committing to re-examine the gazillion dollars a year the US pours into Gaza, the breeding ground of terrorists who murder Israelis.

Nothing. And the silence is deafening, from where I sit.

I have a suggestion for a presidential gesture that BHO could make: immediately stop sending any US foreign "aid" into Gaza, and any other place that supports terrorists. No more money funneled into regimes that not only harbour and support those who commit such atrocities, but also celebrate the murders of innocents. That includes governments who kill their own citizens who dare to aspire to live in a free democracy.

As the Fogel children and their parents were being butchered, the cash registers to terrorist regimes which harbour the murderers were still ringing with the intake of millions of dollars from the US. I know that the US ignored the calls for aid money to stop as long as Gilad Shalit is still held prisoner; those calls fell on deaf ears in the BHO administration.

Every.single.day Israelis are barraged with rockets fired on them by terrorists. Every day, the children and families of Israel have to live in constant vigilance against terrorist attacks. The Fogel family have paid a terrible price at the hands of murdering criminals, who any decent person would denounce. And that is ALL I, as a private citizen, can do: denounce this evil, LOUDLY.

Barack Obama is not a private citizen. He is the President of the US. He does have it within his powers to make a very effective statement against this latest terrorism by stopping all aid money into Israel's enemies, immediately.

Will he take this very public stand? To date, the answer is obvious.

I have no doubt that Israel will take care of business in response to this latest outrage. BHO? I expect him to just shrug, along with the rest of the world. And my heart hurts and I stand and mourn - with Israel.

The Dutch parliament want the Netherlands to stop subsidising the Palestinian Authority if it fails to take measures to end the glorification of terrorism. A motion put forward by two Christian parties the Christian Union and the orthodox SGP in the Dutch parliament today was supported by a majority of MPs.

MPs have also urged the cabinet to lobby for European Union subsidies to be stopped if no action is taken. The CU/SGP motion was supported by coalition parties, the conservative VVD and Christian Democrats, and by the Freedom Party...

UPDATED! 40 Dead, Dozens Wounded, With A Hint Of Arson To Boot!

For most in Israel Chanukah is a time of joy with games, presents, good food and fun. But for 40 families, there will be no joyful Chanukah this year.
Dozens of security personnel, many from the Israel Prisons Service, perished in the fire that has been raging on the Carmel Mountain since Thursday morning. Twenty two people were confirmed dead by 7:00 PM Thursday and 14 more bodies were reported found shortly after 10:00 PM. The total number of dead is estimated at 40.

36 out of the 40 victims were IPS cadets, most of them Druze, who were in their 20's. They were being transported on a bus after assisting in the evacuation of the Damon Prison. At a certain point the fire began spreading at great speed – covering a mile in five minutes, according to a firefighting officer – and the bus was caught in the flames with no chance of getting out.

The names of seven of the cadets were released early on Friday morning:

* Topaz Even Chen Klein (29) from Rechovot
* Maor Ganon (29) from Gan Yavne
* Kfit Ohana (30) from Ofakim
* Siyum Tzagi (31) from Netivot
* Yakir Swissa (28) from Dimona
* Hagai Jorno (28) from Kiryat Gat
* Oshrat Pinto (26) from Tzfat

Their funerals will take place on Friday.

Two policemen, a volunteer firefighter and another man were killed in the blaze as well. Among the people who were injured in the blaze is Lt.-Col. Ahuva Tomer, Commander of Haifa Police, who is in serious condition in Rambam Hospital after suffering burns...

They Really Have Conned The World!

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) also known as the Kill the Jews Commitee has voted that Israel committed War Crimes against the Mavi Marmara on May 31.

A report by three United Nations appointed human rights experts Wednesday said that Israeli forces violated international law when they raided a Gaza-bound aid flotilla, killing nine activists, earlier this year.

The UN Human Rights Council's fact-finding mission concluded that Israel's naval blockade of the Palestinian territory was unlawful because of the humanitarian crisis there, and described the military raid on the flotilla as brutal and disproportionate.

Israel has maintained that its soldiers acted in self-defense when they shot and killed eight Turkish activists and one Turkish-American aboard the Mavi Marmara on May 31. Israel Defense Forces released footage showing its troops coming under attack as they tried to board the boat.

The Human Rights Council blamed Israel prior to the investigation and it is no surprise that they condemn after, said Andy David, a spokesman for the Israeli Foreign Ministry, referring to the 47-member body's resolution in early June condemning the raid...

A hit on YouTube with over 350,000 views, Yedida Freilich's song "Only Israel" speaks the truth louder than the meager words I can write.

A 22-year-old pianist from the Gush Etzion settlement of Neveh Daniel has become the latest YouTube phenomenon with her pro-Israel hasbara song “Only Israel.”

Yedida Freilich, a composition student at the capital’s Rubin Academy of Music and Dance, wrote the mournful piano ballad along with her father, Gabby, and brother Yuval, following the Gaza flotilla incident last month. In only two weeks, the video has attracted over 350,000 views on YouTube and turned Freilich into a celebrity in nationalist circles.

“The song transpired by chance,” Gabby Freilich told The Jerusalem Post this week from Australia, where he was visiting family. “One of Yedida’s projects in school was to compose a musical piece for a political song. As it happened, the assignment fell on the same week as the flotilla.”

Freilich said he was moved to write down lyrics after seeing the world’s reaction to the IDF raid on the Mavi Marmara, which left nine passengers dead.

The video clip of her moving performance on piano and vocals, with lyrics switching between English and Hebrew, is juxtaposed with images of Kassam rockets, St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, judge Richard Goldstone and the Mavi Marmara.

The lyrics decry the double standard Freilich says Israel faces when trying to defend itself, and includes couplets such as “Eight thousand rockets is no excuse / suicide bombers, it’s all just a ruse” and a Hebrew chorus of “Darfur is ignored, Russian troops in Chechnya, only Israel has no right to defend itself, because the world cares nothing about Jewish blood.”

“It was obvious to me that this was a hasbara [public diplomacy] song. Our efforts at explaining what happened with the flotilla were so appalling, and this did so well in explaining our positions, I knew it had to go on YouTube,” said Freilich.

He found a professional videographer, Daniel Sass, who volunteered his time, and together they chose the images and produced the clip.

Freilich insisted that the song appear with English, Hebrew and Arabic subtitles.

“I thought that it was important that the Arabs would be able to understand it,” he said.

“I think it’s a powerful song and a great tune. Yedida sings it from the heart. You can tell she’s involved in the lyrics and the performance, because it’s part of her life – her friends and her family are involved.”

IDF Team rescue Haitian man buried for 10 days

During the day, January 22, 2010, an IDF search and rescue team in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, rescued a 22 year old man, who had been trapped under the rubble of a building near the presidential palace for nearly 10 days. He was taken to the IDF field hospital in stable condition.

A search conducted by Population Management officers from the Home Front Command, headed by Lt. Col. Rami Peletz, were directed to the location of the trapped man by local residents.

American and French doctors were unable to rescue the trapped man and called upon the Israeli delegations search and rescue teams who rescued the man within half an hour, from a tunnel, 2.5-3-meters long and were able to release him whole and healthy, said Maj. Zohar Moshe, a member of the rescue team.

That is correct. The J-Team who successfully rescued an American woman and her 2 1/2 year old son from the captivity she was being held under by her Muslim husband.

Ten former IDF combat soldiers rescued a US citizen and her two-and-a-half-year-old son from a Palestinian village in the Tulkarm area where they had been held captive for 3 years, Israel Radio revealed on Wednesday morning.

The woman, who had married a young Palestinian man she met in the United States, was being held captive in his house, together with their son. The man's first wife and four children from the first marriage also live in the house.

The woman's husband allegedly hit her, prevented her from leaving the house and threatened that if she left, she would never see their son again. He also threatened that if she left the home, she would be apprehended by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency)....

There was a time in the 1960's when a US Politician or even the President would visit a Latin American nation and see signs all over the country stating: Yankee Go Home!

It was a way for people to protest an opposition to US Foreign Policy.

These so-called People's Protests were usually cooked up by the local Communist Party in the area as a way of giving the United States a Black Eye.

It has largely stopped, except for one place: Israel....

"How dare he (Obama) tell the Jews where they can or can't live? The era when Jews were banned from living in different places has ended," said Rabbi Waldman.

The Rockets Continue to Rain Down

On January 17, 2009 Israel stopped Operation Cast Lead so that Barack Obama's inaugural would be free from riots over the action. Hamas claimed that they too would cease-fire. But like everything a Palestinian says, it is just a lie to deceive the useful idiots in the Western Media. A cease-fire means both sides stop their attacks, not just one.

Grad rockets return to Ashkelon: Rockets Continue to Strike Israel in February

Palestinian rocket fire against Israel continued throughout the first week of February despite the unilateral ceasefire declared by Israel and Hamas two weeks ago on Sunday, January 18.

Around 18 Qassam rockets and mortar shells were fired from Gaza and struck Israel on Sunday February 1. Four of the mortar shells exploded in the Sha'ar Hanegev region of the western Negev, injuring three Israelis including two IDF soldiers and one civilian. Three other rockets struck the Eshkol region, with one rocket landing between two kindergartens. No injuries or damages were reported.

On Monday evening, February 2, the Tzeva Adom sounded in the city of Sderot. The Qassam landed in open fields outside Sderot, reportedly wounding no one and causing no damage....

I think most of you have heard me ranting about how the msm has aided and abetted enemies of our countries. Time and again, I have lamented the sorry state of the media as they share - often on their front pages, or top of their newscasts - information that should NOT be shared. Too many times they have rushed to print - or on air - with the latest 'scoop', never mind that their blabbing could, and, indeed, may have, endangered not only national security, but the lives of our men and women.

I didn't think anything the msm did could surprise me anymore, but I was wrong. This past week I heard something so bizarre, I thought I had heard it wrongly. I couldn't believe my ears. Then I found this:

White House officials never conclusively determined whether Israel had decided to go ahead with the strike before the United States protested, or whether Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel was trying to goad the White House into more decisive action before Mr. Bush left office. But the Bush administration was particularly alarmed by an Israeli request to fly over Iraq to reach Iran’s major nuclear complex at Natanz, where the country’s only known uranium enrichment plant is located.

The White House denied that request outright, American officials said, and the Israelis backed off their plans, at least temporarily. But the tense exchanges also prompted the White House to step up intelligence-sharing with Israel and brief Israeli officials on new American efforts to subtly sabotage Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, a major covert program that Mr. Bush is about to hand off to President-elect Barack Obama.

This account of the expanded American covert program and the Bush administration’s efforts to dissuade Israel from an aerial attack on Iran emerged in interviews over the past 15 months with current and former American officials, outside experts, international nuclear inspectors and European and Israeli officials. None would speak on the record because of the great secrecy surrounding the intelligence developed on Iran.

Several details of the covert effort have been omitted from this account, at the request of senior United States intelligence and administration officials, to avoid harming continuing operations....[emphasis mine]

Hellooooooooooooooooo? Isn't that too 'precious'? WTH is wrong with these people? Are they so full of their own importance that they need to share this with all of us? And of course, share it with some of America's and Israel's enemies? Maybe the New York Times thinks Iranians can't read, or don't have access to the internet? If you must, you can read the rest of this here. Is it any wonder the New York Times and some of the other bastions of "journalism" are losing advertising revenues? Is it any surprise that their share prices are almost down the toilet?

And no, I don't care that this is not today's events. You could be a mental midget and still draw all sorts of pertinent conclusions about America's philosophies, alliances and strategies by reading something like that. The concepts of OpSec and "need to know" are in place for reasons - some very BIG, valid, reasons!

Was I the only one totally flummoxed by these 'helpful' revelations? It appears that others are also paying attention; I mean apart from the Iranians etc etc.

In the single most appalling news item I have read since 9/11, a January 10th New York Times report exposes numerous glaring weaknesses in American national security. It will come as no surprise to any patriotic citizen that in doing so they admit to receiving classified material or to exposing details of an ongoing intelligence operation in Iran. Naturally, they will claim to have made these revelations “in the public interest” although how, yet again, publishing details of clandestine operations makes America safer is not something they will be able to explain in any meaningful way. Only history will be able to judge if this article marks the absolute bottom in both journalism and the failure of the government to conduct national security operations, but it must be a contender.

This shameful breach of national security exposes more than just incredible stupidity (if it is not willful intent to harm the national interest) on the part of the New York Times (hereinafter referred to as The NY Disgrace), it also highlights the incredible lack of security in regard to classified information around our Capitol; the astonishing disregard of those with political connections and/or agendas for our safety, and that of our intelligence operatives, when it comes to keeping secrets secret; the appalling disagreements within our senior national security leadership; and, perhaps most importantly to his legacy, the astonishing lapse of judgment by President Bush which may lead directly to Iran successfully developing nuclear weapons.

The NY Disgrace states in their article that they withheld “several details of the covert effort…….to avoid harming continuing operations.” It would seem that the staff of the NY Disgrace either don’t know or don’t care that a “covert effort” is no longer covert when any details have been published in a newspaper! ...

There is more, and it IS a must read, but he finishes with this:

So what can be done to correct these numerous problems?...My personal recommendations would include: the immediate delivery, covertly if possible (hah), of all the assistance requested to Israel; an immediate, urgent inquiry, headed by a Federal Special Prosecutor, into the source of the leaks of classified material; and finally a Justice Department investigation into all activities of the NY Disgrace with particular focus on whether they are acting as unregistered agents of a foreign power but also every other aspect of their operations, finances and sources.

Should the nightmare scenario come true, I may then return to the NY Times to read with interest any editorials which the survivors might produce on the reasons for it. Until then I can no longer pay for such dangerous garbage, even under the facade of “knowing my enemy.”...

I couldn't agree with Mr. Wilson more. I have long been on the record as saying that censorship in times of war is a GOOD thing. And this latest example is yet another example of why I fervently believe that media - ALL media - should be chastised, severely, for this kind of 'reportage'. I am not holding my breath.
