Published on Jun 25, 2015An RAF pilot who averted a major disaster after narrowly avoiding a crashed jet on a runway has been awarded the Air Force Cross for his bravery.
Flight Lieutenant Timothy Eddy was given the award at Buckingham Palace following the incident in South Sudan.
