Over the last few years, various webcams have been set up near eagle nests in my part of the world. Today I heard about this one:
Victoria/Sidney Eagle Nest
In an old Garry oak tree, this pair has successfully raised young in front of our cameras in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 they produced THREE eaglets in a new nest about 500 ft. from the original nest. A cam has been placed in the new nest for the 2009 season.
This is on the Hancock Wildlife Channel, and if you go here, you can find other live nest channels too. How cool is that? Check it out. I am going to stay tuned, and may be moving this post up over time.
